Piedras Blancas Lighthouse Tour - 9:45
Tours are offered Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, excluding Federal holidays. Meet at he former Piedras Blancas Motel, located 1 1/1 miles north of light station at 9:45 a.m. Do not wait at the gate to the lighthouse. $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6-17, and free for children 5 and under.. Robin's Restaurant Presents a Very Special Event - 4095 Burton Drive
CAMBRIA, CA– On Friday, March 15th Robin’s Restaurant in Cambria will be offering prix fixe menu paired with local Zinfandel wines. The dinner is being offered in conjunction with the Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival happening March 15-17th. The weekend is full of winemaker dinners, wine tastings, vineyard and wine tours. Robin’s will be featuring wines from Piedra Creek, J. Dusi, Ken Volk, Opolo Mountain and Four Vines wineries. Guests can look forward to paired dishes such as BBQ Korobuta pork spareribs with ham hock polenta fries and slaw and spice crusted ostrich loin, root vegetable hash, black garlic zinfandel gastrique, prepared by Chef Michael Wood. "Thanks to a suggestion from one of our guests we've created the menu to showcase the different profiles of these local zinfandels. This is the first time we've paired a menu to a single varietal and are excited to see the response from it,” says owner, Shanny Covey. Enjoy an evening tour of the Piedras Blancas Light Station while viewing the sunset and watching for migrating gray whales. Wear warm clothing and confortable walking shoes. Space is limited.
